COMPANY OVERVIEW

INTRODUCTION:

Burnley Associates, Inc. provides solutions for landscape lighting, outdoor living, and water management   Our territory is the region of New Jersey to Virginia.  We have over 30 years of green industry experience. Our office is located in the greater Philadelphia, PA area.  Our business is segmented between Landscape Lighting, Hardscaping, Water Gardening, Landscape Tools, and Irrigation.

MARKETING STRATEGY:

We promote the partnership of the manufacturer, distributor, contractor / designer, and us as the representative. We are sales consultants, as opposed to sales people or order takers. Our role includes marketing assistance, distributor & contractor training programs, counter days, trade shows, as well as problem solving. This concept has proven to very successful.  We also strive to schedule appointments, as opposed to stopping in unannounced. We respect our customer’s time as he does ours. By scheduling appointments we feel we have the attention of our customer during the sales call. We will always have something to present, or leave with the customer, as opposed going in empty handed. Our philosophy is that our customers are very busy, and if they are good enough to offer us a block of their time, then we are obligated to present them with useful information that may assist them in improving their business.

COUNTER DAYS & TRADE SHOWS:

Burnley Associates, Inc. supports distributor counter days, open houses, and trade shows. A professionally made booth, interactive product displays, and a personalized canopy allow effective inside or outside events.

DISTRIBUTOR & CONTRACTOR TRAINING:

The role of the “rep” is changing and more effort has to be focused on educating, and training distributor sales & counter personnel and the contractor. Through the use of computerized presentation devices we are able to provide interactive training for groups of any size.

SPECIFIER’S & DESIGNER’S:

Irrigation designers, specifiers, and landscape architects are kept up to date with product information and training.
